This code package lets you set up an eBay like auction site.
ICAuction is a script pack that helps create an eBay like website. The auction site gets implemented in 8 different languages, widening the prospect base. When the site is ready, registered members would be able to advertise and manage auctions. Payment system integrated with the site is PayPal. After the buyer makes the payment, the seller gets the payment only after the item is shipped and buyer has confirmed that the product has been received. Obviously there are these two types of users; buyers and sellers. Features available with seller accounts include a control panel to manage their business. A seller would be able to write and edit his/her profile. Seller can set up alerts about auctions. Sellers are able to view auctions according to auction status such as pending, closed, suspended, or sold. When somebody wins an auction, seller will be able to view the buyer details. Feedback management, viewing of account details are possible. The seller in his turn can participate in auctions. A personal message board helps review messages received from buyers.
Features available to buyers include bid for auctions, a control panel, save auctions, set up watch lists, review items he has bid on, view auctions won and view and send feedback to others. An administrator can manage membership and its level, manage registration and membership fees, duration of auction and payment methods, country list, bidfind enabling and actually finding the auctions of interest, category and picture upload and setting up preferences. Currency, time, dates formats, default country are some settings available. The administrator can decide if site counters like Active auctions, Registered users, Online users are to be displayed on the site. This is a very good product.
